What do I need to start accepting QR payments?
1. Enable bank notifications
Ask your bank to enable QR payment notifications for your business account. Request the following form at your bank:
Request for notifications of received payments via QR codes
2. Authentication credentials from the Financial Administration
Load the same authentication credentials and password into QR Terminal that you use for the eKasa system. If you no longer have them, see the steps at the certificate renewal guide.
3. Have the following details ready
- Your bank account number in IBAN format
- The exact bank account name (without diacritics)
- Authentication credentials and password issued by the Financial Administration
Installation
Download QR Terminal by clicking the link at the top of this page (setup_qrterm.exe). Run the installer and confirm each screen of the setup wizard.
During installation, we recommend checking:
- Create desktop shortcut — the QR Terminal icon will be accessible directly from the desktop
- Create startup shortcut — the program will launch automatically when the computer starts
After installation, the QR Terminal icon will appear in the system tray near the clock. If it is not visible, click the ^ arrow next to the clock.
Configuration
Open the configuration by right-clicking the tray icon and selecting Program Configuration (or press K). Use the password adminpt to log in.
Bank details (Bank tab)

Save changes with the Save Configuration button. Use the Test button to display a test QR code.
Authentication credentials (Qverko → Api server tab)
- Click the Qverko tab → Api server tab
- Click
...to locate the authentication credentials file - Enter the password for the credentials
- Click Load
Once loaded successfully, save the configuration with Save Configuration.
Making your first QR payment
Before the first payment, we recommend checking server availability: right-click the tray icon → Qverko → Check server availability.
Open the payment window by double-clicking the tray icon with the left mouse button.
- Enter the amount in the Payment field
- Make sure the Use QR payment checkbox is ticked
- Click Process payment — the QR code will appear on screen
- The customer scans the code and confirms the payment in their banking app
The default maximum wait time for confirmation is 90 seconds (configurable). Once payment is confirmed, you are required to immediately issue a receipt from the eKasa.
If the customer paid later, the payment can be verified using the Verify payment button. Past payments can be verified up to 2 hours after they were made.
Where is the QR code displayed?

Tips & tricks
Extending the QR code display time
Open Qverko → NOP server tab → set Bank Timeout to the desired value in milliseconds → save.
Printing a receipt or confirmation slip Under Qverko → Configuration, check External printer, select the printer COM port, and optionally check Print confirmation slip. To print on an FT5000 eKasa, check Print to IP address and enter the printer’s IP address and port.
Payment declined — but the customer says they paid You can print a “REQUEST FOR QR PAYMENT REFUND” document from the printer or eKasa. This serves as a formal dispute with the bank. It can only be printed for the most recently processed payment.
Moving and resizing the QR payment window Drag the window by clicking and holding the “QR terminal” label at the top. Set the exact position and size (Left, Top, Size X, Size Y) in the configuration, then save with Save Configuration.

QR payments carry no bank fees and no percentage charges per transaction.
QR Terminal is free until 30 September 2026. After that, the fee is €4 / month + VAT via an annual licence.
To order a licence, right-click the tray icon in the program → Order licence. A valid licence is loaded automatically on startup, or manually via Service support.
